Are you like Philip? Your weekly update about goings on at Wildwood Church

Are you like Philip?

Are you like Philip, available and ready to bring people to Jesus, or more like Jonah, worried you won’t know what to say and hiding inside the stomach of a big fish?
Maybe we wouldn’t go to those extremes (and even Jonah didn’t choose that as his hiding place) but we all know what it’s like to be terrified and tongue-tied about telling others.
On Sunday Michael Jerreat encouraged us to realise that we can all play our part. The world needs to meet Jesus, and just like the story in John 12, they are turning to Him. Have a listen to Michael’s talk and ask God what you could do.
On Sunday

  • Guest Preacher Michael Jerreat from Grace Church in Stoke spoke this Sunday about “We wish to see Jesus”. If you missed it you can download it here or get a tape from Jane Russell.
  • You can look at a digital copy of the weekly news sheet here.
