ParkLife will be a place where people meet, for a coffee and a chat, to come to a parent and toddler group or a knitting club, to meet old neighbours at the senior citizens drop-in or school friends at the youth clubs. Parents will come in with their toddlers, while grandmas play bridge, waiting for their grandkid’s football match to finish.
ParkLife will give space to a variety of community groups and events, as well as being a new home for our church.
We have been working with the wider community and our local councillors, including current ward councillors Ray and Jenny Barron, on this project since 2014 and we have received many positive comments about the building proposals, particularly the cafe and soft play area (for those occasional rainy days!).
In November 2019 we applied for planning permission, and Stafford Borough Council is asking for comments on the proposal.
